III. Conduct in Battle

  1. Forbearance

  2. Humane Detention of the Surrendered
Those who yield arms and surrender are to be taken into custody and granted quarter, regardless of rank, status, or past acts. Prisoners shall be afforded food, water, warmth, medical attention, and protection from abuse. No form of physical, magical, or psychological torture shall be employed.
  3. Restriction on Area of Effects within Settlements
The pact forbids the use of indiscriminate area-effects such as fireballs, siege weapons, or explosive devices the likes of which shall not be used to target Orathi settlements.
