Copseweald

A small palisaded town on the Veilwood–Rivalon border, controlled (not owned —
"well, not owns") by the Blackwood vampire family. Ashlyn was born here in 1320,
behind wooden walls that keep out the demons and the fog-creatures that take anyone
caught outside at night. Relatively safe, by Veilwood standards.

Session 6

• Named by Ashlyn at the backstory circle as her family's seat — she was sent from
  here to Varia for real-world experience, not banished, and is now headed back.
• Lash did blacksmithing at nearby Gorton, northeast through a
  cursed forest with a druid's grove (she got lost in it once; the druids' survival
  is uncertain).
• Sits close to the party's soft-pinned settlement area — the future neighbors
  include a "vampire house" worth a 200-mile dinner invitation.
