Location: The Port City – Highside district, markets, Flame Queen temple, Lash’s forge, and city streets.
Party Goals:

The day after the wedding, healing, and outfitting of the previous session, the party split across Port Kibbe to tend to final matters before the sea journey.

Kain the Blessed threw himself deeper into his Flame Queen ministry. He preached fiery sermons in the temple, trying to convert locals and uplift spirits. Some were inspired, others merely bemused, but his zeal grew louder with each gathering. Kain also scolded the cowardly gladiator he’d spoken to before, pressing him toward courage.

Ashlyn Blackwood still bore the odd “healing sickness” from the Ash Warden’s overzealous blessing. She wandered the streets, testing her resolve, and was pulled into uneasy visions. Her monster-hunting instincts remained sharp, but she wrestled with her own creeping doubts.

Lash threw herself back into smithing with a manic joy. With Brevo lingering nearby, she tested the newly acquired silver ingot, hammering it into workable sheets. The forge rang with her energy, sparks flying. She also grew bolder in social situations, her brash humor cutting into every exchange, making merchants and workers alike unsure whether to laugh or worry.

Thalia Blackthorn focused on logistical details, checking manifests, papers, and ensuring the group’s supplies would hold through a sea crossing. She conversed with minor officials, dropping Fey charm where needed. Always two steps ahead, she made sure the others’ antics didn’t undo her careful work.

Fenric Vale kept a quieter role, observing his companions and balancing the group’s chaos. His calm martial discipline provided the anchor for their spiraling momentum, keeping them grounded as they barreled toward departure.

By the end of the day, the party regrouped, stronger in gear, heavier in coin purses, and weighed with both anticipation and dread. The voyage loomed close — with dangers ahead that none of their preparations could fully shield them from.
