Giant Cutlass

Roger Payton's signature weapon: a cutlass three times the size it should be — "effectively a great cutlass" — wielded in two hands, confirmed magical by Fenric's sight, with a giant back-sheath that fits at Draak's waist. The very blade Tegrak used to kill its owner on Ankley Island.

Claimed by Drak as his upgrade over the spiked greatclub. Stat block deliberately TBD — the GM wants it "more interesting than just +1 to hit" ("make Ryan's sword" is on the to-do list), and Lash has already pitched a mod: serrate the front edge so the draw-cut tears on the pull-back.

• Looted from Payton's corpse (Session 10); Drak called dibs, ceding the corsair shirt if nobody else wants it.

Session 12

• Upgraded by Lash during the Gwyndinas downtime week: the front edge serrated and the blade double-bladed on all edges for +2 damage, with weight-cutting fullers (easier to wield) and a new metal-tipped scabbard to contain the sharpened tip. Drak used it with Searing Smite in the killipede fight.
