The mushrooms are dead — now the party pushes deeper into the Gwyndinas sewers to find Eldrich's mad scientist and buy whatever he's selling. It's a circus down here! A Thorn Giant collects Draak, Fenric and Jallek on a stone shelf like action figures, until Thalia sweet-talks it loose with Speak with Plant. She dances with a dying tree named Wiggleus, who gifts her a magic dagger and a quest: find the vanished Spirit of Nature. The crew sneaks past tree-puppies, a glowing-green dip that leaves Draak shining, and a hairy monster that only kills what you wave closer.

Then the bombshell — meet Dr. Provostinalkov, a lonely teen prodigy manufacturing a Shard of the Autark, the god-slaying material that once made an emperor explode. He sells Eldrich everything. On the way out, a trapped door hides a changeling's lair: forged government seals, disguises, bound "failed" shapeshifters fed to rats.

Someone's replacing the Reclamation's leaders. Now the party climbs the ladder toward its surface home — where a hissing "wife" drops to all fours.
