Previously on Reclaiming Orathos...
Brick-sized hail hammers Ponterford — the cursed sawmill village where children vanish and float home drowned — and drives you straight into the Northern Trading Company, Baelheim's monopoly trading house. You dump chunks of Caressa's hoard for cold coin and climb the absurd membership ladder: Fenric to silver, Thalia all the way to gold. In aisle one you find an orc, Algrimmar, literally for sale to pay off a 62-gold debt — so Fenric buys the contract and hands it back to be torn up. "You now own yourself."
Lash takes an apprenticeship under the giant craftsman Big Finn, whose granddaughter the snatcher stole. Thalia bonds with Sven the dwarven courier over outlawed mail and old "stomps." But nobody on the clock will breathe a word about the missing kids.
So you visit the Church of the Witches. The horse-folk priestess knows things about the snatcher — but she won't talk until you prove yourselves. First test: a frog-folk family near the lumber mill has lost something. Time to earn this town's trust.
SUMMARY: Hail-stranded in Ponterford, the party trades Caressa's hoard, frees an orc, and earns a witch-priestess's first trust-test — find what a frog-folk family lost.
