Corund Hale

Magister and historian from Stellmoor College. During Fenric's forty years in the
cursed Veilwood, Hale blundered half-frozen into one of Fenric's Kind-Posts and
was escorted by him for nearly four years while driving copper stakes into warping
ley-lines — research that fills fifteen pages of Fenric's field journal. He limped
back to Varia branded a harmless eccentric by his peers.

He still owes Fenric a favor. Fenric went looking for "Magister Hale" in
Port Quaybay (referenced in the Session 3 recap of Session 2).
