Previously on Reclaiming Orathos
This is it — the day of violence. After sessions of building her cage, the party storms the lair of the Queen Grabbler herself, Caressa: a building-sized centipede of a thousand grasping hands, crowned with a vain, veiled face. No one can see in the dark, so Jex rolls a smuggler's explosive barrel down the slope and Magra detonates it midair, lighting the cavern with a 33-damage blast.
Then comes the play the whole plan hinges on. Invisible and fully buffed, Fenric reaches Caressa and rips away every spell slot she has — four Fingers of Death and a Thumb, gone before she can cast. "No more spells!" Every ally the party ever befriended holds off the loose drones while Magra, Jex, and Silithane grind the Queen down. Lash shoulder-checks a one-ton boulder in half. Rolling Thunder drops two of us — but nobody dies except poor Gravis.
The killing blow grazes Caressa's chin. The vain Queen bursts into tears and surrenders. Caged at last!
Then the GM rolls a freak 1000-in-1000: a meteor is falling. Where will it land?
SUMMARY: Energetic present-tense recap of Session 31 (the Caressa boss fight, Fenric's spell-strip, the non-lethal surrender and caging) ending on the meteor cliffhanger, saved to Recaps\Session 31 recap.md.
