Euphemia Fayeth

One of Laewendas's right-hand women — a half-elven magic user with blue hair who mixes her magics with daggercraft ("crude but effective," per a visibly disgusted Carmelia). Once attended the Mage's Society for training, then went independent. The Society believes she possesses at least three of: illusory decoy images of herself, faster-than-normal invisibility, and the ability to twist and corrupt the memories of those she touches. She has cost the Reclamation heavy losses of militiamen and archers, and holds a rudimentary fortress at Pinpadge on the southern coast.

Session 8

• Assigned to Fenric by Carmelia as his Mage's Society tasking — with the warning that those Euphemia keeps closest are likely those she has interfered with most, so the fewer of her "allies" killed, the better: freed of her control, they could become valuable assets.
• Carmelia rates her magic at least as strong as her own: "if I can confuse your eyes, she can confuse your mind."

• Invoked again by Eldrich the Elder at his war council as the archmage who twists minds — the reason he targets the manipulable barbarian Knucklebones rather than any of Laewendas's mage-guarded forces: "to out-strategize that, I couldn't imagine."
