Horibus
The pacifist druid/herbalist who lives two doors from the party's rented old Falconer house in Ponterford — a green-robed figure in vine-and-leaf-infested clothes and hand-carved wooden clogs, who grieves the felled trees and grows his own cures. First met (unnamed) in Session 35, where he confessed the truth of the child-snatcher's death and pledged his service if the party stops the lumber mill; the sheriff named "Horibus" the town herbalist in Session 34, and the GM confirmed it here ("the advice posted by Horibus").
(Heard "Horibus"/"Horibus"; spelling unconfirmed — and his identity as the Session 35 druid neighbour, once addressed "Amar," is now effectively settled. The Session 35 druid is named "Horibus" — taken to be the same man under a different rendering. See Canon Questions.)
Session 38
- Sells the party antitoxins, antivenoms and a live anteater (Tony) at a fair 10 gold each when they prep for the Guardian hunt — hedging "get all three" rather than be legally liable for a wrong guess, and grumbling "no refunds" when Salamandine eats a spare anteater.
- The same green-clogged druid the party "creeped on" through his window in Session 37 (rocking a cradle — an implied illegal child).
