The party is inside the sealed Druid's Grove — and it's a graveyard. Lash torpedoes through a thorn-tunnel and finds dead soil, red-eyed needle blights, and a corpse-choked pond with something stirring beneath. Stunghelm heals a snared giant goat, Thalia sweet-talks the lockdown-minded thorn wall into spitting it free, and the team rushes the gap before it re-knits. They Speak with Dead to ancient skeletons who swear the year is 826 and that secrets lie under the tors. Then they meet "Tim Bimson," a pleading robed teen — whom Stunghelm promptly Sunbeams to dust, cheerfully revealing the boy was an evil undead necromancer. His diary names him Dreadweaver Corpsefortune, killer of the grove's forty-two druids — who now erupt from the lake fused into one 55-foot monster! The brutal boss fight ends when the amalgam slams fire-shielded Lash and immolates itself a heartbeat before its kill-everyone hymn lands. Now the party owes a dead archdruid two tomes for two distant groves... and the dome stays sealed.
SUMMARY: Breaching the grove, the party Sunbeams a teenage necromancer, slays his 42-druid amalgam, and inherits an archdruid's two deliveries.
