He bubbles Lash clean out of the fight, chains lightning across the room, and Feebleminds Silithane and Pimothy down to 7 INT — "matching besties," feral but loyal. But Fenric is a wall: he flings Halren's Slow spells right back and chases him as he blinks and curses in Old Common. Magra's crossbow turns galactic, and the Wong — hittable only by rolling low — torments Jex all fight before exploding into butterflies. Halren panics, drops a Fireball on his own room, and nearly kills everyone — Magra survives 51 damage on 53 HP! Fenric lands the kill. Inside his ribcage: a key. It opens a 5,000-gold vault, a gravekeeper's diary, and the legend of four deathless scholars — one of whom, Jairus, may still live.
