That cliffhanger finally pays off — three hand-beasts swarm the chasm camp, and it gets ugly fast. Valmora's Spirit Guardians grind them down while the Angry Grabbler whiffs every single roll (brain damage, the table decides). But the smart one flanks, grapples Thalia, and flings her forty-five feet off the cliff! She glides to a ledge and clings there while the party stages a glorious rescue circus — a crow that drops the rope and cries, Magra fishing for her with an IOU note, and finally Valmora swan-diving in to fly her up.

Across the chasm, the cave opens wide. You loot a hidden smuggler's cache (an Amulet of Crossed Fists, explosive bitumen, a false-bottom coffin-chest), reunite with Gravis — the ship's "not-a-necromancer," now happily animating fifty-seven skeletal rats and a cat — and adopt Dee, a lost little wood-boy hunting his "mama." Then Lash swims a flooded passage and surfaces at a sunken, red-candle tomb with a fourteen-foot coffin.

You hit level 6. Rescue the trapped survivors first — then chase that coffin.

SUMMARY: Energetic player-facing recap of Session 24 — the Grabbler fight, Thalia's cliff rescue, the smuggler's cache, Gravis the necromancer, Dee the wood-boy, and the sunken tomb cliffhanger.
