Previously on Reclaiming Orathos

It's the 28th of Spring's End, two days shy of the full moon, and the drake skeleton beside our rented house has finally gone quiet. So we hit Ponterford to close out our promises — no swords today, just errands.

First, the frog-folk. A fox-wolf lawyer named Edgar Wiley cracks the case: those loggers are trespassing, and the fix is a fence plus a change-of-use deed. King Ringo agrees to pay if we build it, so we drop 55 gold on lumber and put Magra, Fenric, Algrimmar and Thalia's thorn-vines on the two-week job.

Meanwhile Lash throws herself an "18th birthday," writes a will, and legally adopts Salamandine. At the witch church, the Covenite summons us back at midnight — bells ringing for us alone — to meet a heart broken by people who promised help and failed.

Then the orcs hand us a quest: slay the poison-breathing Beast of the Woods. A dying victim's mind reveals a ten-foot, four-tendrilled horror that ambushes from a dirt cloud. We need its venom sac to save her — and we're marching in now.

SUMMARY: An errand-day in Ponterford closes the frog-folk fence deal and triggers a midnight church summons, ending as the party marches to hunt the poison-breathing Beast of the Woods.
