Previously on Reclaiming Orathos
The "burned-out, sealed" Middle Tor mine is a lie. Cresting the rim, our heroes stare down into a floodlit Laewendas crystal operation — smithies, barracks, a captive workforce, and a many-titled noble beating a miner half to death for cheating the scales. No fighting through this. So they walk in: Lash lifts miner's clothes, Silithane's disguise kit strips Magra's orc features, Jex rides in stuffed inside a backpack, and every weapon vanishes into Thalia's bottomless hat. They stride through the great doors with the returning shift.
And the crystal? It's the Shard of the Autark — the same god-slaying substance Dr. Provostinalkov brews, dug by the mountainload. Silithane forges the noble's own decree, bluffs the guards, and rides the fire-scorched cage-hoist down into the burned deep. Past skeletons and a flooded cavern, past pipe-smoking hermits, they find the truth: Vara'nak, the scapegoated orc, burned alive with his kin. His guardian passes Magra a journal — and a mysterious machine key.
What does the axolotl key unlock?
SUMMARY: A hooky present-tense recap of Session 50 — the disguise infiltration, the god-crystal reveal, and Vara'nak's grave — ending on the axolotl-key hook.
