Lash's masterpiece auricalcum hammer is finally finished — and now it's time to evict the "circle-jerking skeletons in the closet." Malifax's estranged immortal clique, the Live Long Council, rule four rooms by an absurd magically-binding system of votes, and the party needs that space for the Queen Grabbler's cell. So we don't draw a single blade. We infiltrate by democracy.

Posing as ghoul-delivery and eviction agents, we get voted onto the council seat by seat — shadow seats, blind motions, whispered vote-trades. One by one the immortals crack: Laos storms off unfriended, Rimulus quits over Valmora's catastrophic singing, Dominus hands Fenric the High Seat. Then the schemer Cheve "beats democracy" — dissolving the council and freeing himself to seize power "at a time of his choice." He vanishes with a promise: "I will see you in your futures."

Malifax smashes the room open for the Queen. And behind a cobwebbed door, the chest-eyed Shushu waits — guarding a glowing teleport altar that leads to the crab room... if you arrive as yourself.

Fenric pulls Valmora off the lever just in time. Does anyone dare pull it?
