Hippo-man engine and maintenance worker aboard The Expedition Ship ("It's like
Hugo but Varian, you know?") — maintenance-guild tattoo, yellow neckerchief, forearms
permanently black with engine grease. Warm and loyal: on learning Kain's adoptive
father is a hippo person, he clapped him on the shoulder and declared himself Kain's
"dad away from your dad that was away from your dad."

Session 5

• Walked Kain to the guarded statue hold (he's not allowed in himself — "I'm not
  anything, I'm just an engine man"); Kain insisted he's the reason anyone gets to
  Orathos at all.
• Poured Kain his first-ever whiskey and defended him to Magra and Daewynn
  ("Why is your group being mean to Kain? He's just a boy"), then refereed the
  great apology-and-handshake standoff.
• Ship trivia: the ship has both engine and sails, and this voyage uses both.
