Ysolde
The rightful Queen of Orathos, directly opposed to the Quisling Queen Laewendas who holds Cathalon. Restoring her to the throne is The Coalition's goal in Rivalon. (Spelling per the signed Code of Honorable Conduct; the GM's documents also use "Isolde," and Session 8's transcript renders her "Ysolde"/"Ysolde".)
Session 8
- Appeared in person at Fort Foothold: she greets every arriving ship with a ~45-minute speech, and the inspired party (1 inspiration each) learned she's guarded by Uva Blackheart, on loan from Queen Amelia Bloodworth of Varia.
- Politics on display: lavish, careful praise of the Firebrands who hold every front line — though Silithane read that she is no true believer, just unwilling to lose her most fervent shock troops, who have no single leader to negotiate with.
- War report: Cathalon is 50–60 miles off and could fall in 9 months to 2 years; the Palisade has reclaimed ~50 miles; exit beyond it requires 3 signatures of people of merit.
- Pointedly never mentioned Vana Vermillion, the Veilwood princess who arrived on the same ship. Plans to travel on to Gwyndinas by sea within days.
