Previously on Reclaiming Orathos
The dust is still settling in the woods north of Ponterford when we pick up the fight! Magra's two arrows punch in for forty-two, Jex piles on, and Fenric knocks the Guardian of the Woods out cold with his bare fists. We carve it open for the venom sac that'll save Silithane — and find nothing. The beast was stealing its poison, dipping wood-shards in green venom dripping from an ancient wyrm's skull atop a hundred-and-fifty-foot tower. So we climb it, harvest ten bottles of "Toxico," five teeth, and a load of dragon-bone — and Thalia gently replants the Guardian so it lives on.
Back in town, the orc medicine woman brews the antidote and cures Silithane. Then, at midnight in the witch church, a murdered boy's ghost reveals everything: a cave ten miles upstream, twenty of Laewendas's agents, snatched children sacrificed to life-stealing skeletons. Their inside man, the Varian spy Timothy Leisten, lays out the raid — and we swear to help. We hit level seven.
Next: the blue-painted rock, and the assault on the cave.
SUMMARY: An energetic present-tense player recap of Session 39 — finishing the Guardian, the worm-skull venom, curing Silithane, the ghost's revelation, and the oath to raid Laewendas's upstream cave.
