Previously on Reclaiming Orathos

The mine is finally out of rooms. Magra tracks the party down by the slime Jex leaves along every right-hand wall, and the reunited group clears the last two chambers on the miners' own map. In a collapsed hobby-dig, Lash goes shoulder-deep into a ceiling that is already coming down, identifies a dead miner by touch — rib, clavicle, skull, tooth, gauntlet — and comes out backwards with Silithane holding her ankles. The gauntlets pull gravity: name a point, and everything within twenty feet is dragged to it. No save.

Then back down the flooded crawl, for the dragon. Thalia's Entangle steals the first round. Its acid breath scorches five of them, its ribcage swallows Silithane whole, and its Bonestorm tears every buried bone in the room into a cyclone and drops Lash. At one hit point it refuses three times to die — and is finally killed by the Booming Blade Silithane left on it while lying unconscious four squares away. Magra tears the skull off the sword. Jex inherits the arrow from its heart.

Level 8. Hot showers, thirty hours late. Then out through the north tunnel: sixty miles of dark nobody has walked in a year, and something lives in it now...
